As some of you know, I have been involved in Natural Health solutions (and dare I say remedies) for quite a few years now. And anyone who has been around the Natural Health Industry, it’s a little hard NOT to see what was  obviously coming. Just read my other posts for some other signs (like this one at

And now… the FDA, FTC and others with MUCH to gain financially, who have already been trying very hard to take your business away from you… And now cause even MORE loss of jobs, but, the real topper I can NOT believe anyone with a single ounce of moral fiber would even THINK to allow…

They want to now, take away YOUR obese CHILDREN! And most Americans aren’t even aware, much less care WHAT the Govt. does. It’s truly a sad time in U.S. History.

And to SHOW YOU the stupidity running rampant in our Govt., not to mention how LITTLE they think of OUR intelligence, here is one response to my plea to stop the New Bill the FDA is attempting to slide in under the noses of Americans…

‘Dear Friend:’
‘Thank you for contacting me regarding the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations on healthy foods and dietary supplements. I welcome your thoughts and comments.’

‘Currently, FDA stipulations do not allow products to contain references to scientific studies by dietary supplement manufacturers or health food producers about the health benefits of the products (such as information on cherries, walnuts, or even green tea). If these regulations are not followed, the FDA can label the specific supplements or foods as unapproved drugs.’

1. Now, READ that first line again… They have ALREADY stifled YOUR ability to make an INFORMED decision on what YOU put into your body. You simply get to GUESS if a product is right for YOU or not.

Also note, this does NOT apply to actual DRUGS. That alone tells you a LOT.

2. Now, READ the last line… Cherries, walnuts nor ANY NATURAL ingredient is a DRUG?! Seriously, wake up and smell the cow dung, people!

‘I remain committed to ensuring that our nation’s food does not pose a danger to anyone.’

Then get a spine and STOP the destruction of our HEALTH and our LIBERTIES!

‘As the Senate continues to work on new food safety legislation, I support the ability of Texans to make their own knowledgeable decisions regarding health-related products. A healthy diet is essential to our well-being.’

Seriously, she OBVIOUSLY does NOT give a rats ass WHAT “we the people” want, much less our RIGHT TO CHOOSE. This reply  SCREAMS she has HER hand in the pocket of the drug companies, just like anyone else who is NOT outraged at the insanity and stupidity of it all.

And what WE, as a ONCE PROUD NATION have ALLOWED and CONTINUE to allow to happen.

‘Please know that I will keep your thoughts regarding FDA regulations on healthy food and dietary supplements in mind. I appreciate hearing from you, and I hope that you will not hesitate to contact me on any issue that is important to you.’

In other words… I’m blowing you off.

I’ll just leave you with this… My Husband and I were in Walgreens the other day walking down the vitamin isle. And he turned and asked me…

‘So, if the FDA is allowed to pass the new bill, this whole isle will begin to disappear?’ I simply looked at him and said ‘Yes’.

No more vitamins, ear ache remedies, cold remedies… You name it… It will be GONE and the ONLY thing you will be left with… DRUGS with more side-effects and growing lawsuits from deaths and other life-changing ailments caused by them. Nice, huh?

PLEASE don’t sit on your thumbs… Your childrens future and ALL our future’s depend on YOU taking action.

CONTACT your local congressman/woman. Tell them HOW it will effect your family. And never hurts to remind them, they work for you! Sad, when one has to remind them.

Go right now and tell Congress and the FDA the draft guidance for complying with the New Dietary Ingredient (NDI) is Bad! AND PLEASE SHARE THESE WILL EVERYONE YOU KNOW!!submitComment;D=FDA-2011-D-0376-0002

One Thought on “Response From Senator Kay Bailey Hutchison

Here’s another response from her on another issue, that also
clearly shows exactly where HER loyalties lay (defending HER
special interests)… Dear Friend: Thank you for contacting me
regarding genetically engineered food. I welcome your thoughts and
comments. Genetically engineered food was developed to boost
nutritional value and agricultural yields, as well as to increase
crops resistance to weather conditions, diseases and insects.
Genetic engineering has helped to meet growing global food needs
and avert food shortages in some regions of the world. Texas
agricultural research institutions have been leaders in developing
and testing genetically engineered crops, and bringing forward more
effective cultivation methods. Federal food safety laws require
pre-market testing and approval by the U.S. Food and Drug
Administration (FDA) for all food additives, including products of
biotechnology. In addition, the U.S. Department of Agriculture is
authorized to conduct scientific assessments and research regarding
the effects of genetically engineered animals, plants, and
microorganisms on health and the environment. The Department of
Agriculture is also charged with developing and disseminating
public information about food safety, including bio-engineered
foods and food additives. Although the FDA has found no consumer
safety issues with genetically engineered foods, I believe it is
important that the FDA continue to monitor and develop new science
to ensure food safety. Please be assured that I am committed to
ensuring that our food production system maintains the highest
quality standards in the world. I appreciate hearing from you, and
I hope that you will not hesitate to contact me on any issue that
is important to you. Sincerely, Kay Bailey Hutchison United States
